Four years of development funding
World Archery has announced a USD 2 million grant from Easton Foundations for international development activity. The funding is scheduled at USD 500,000 per year from 2026 through 2029.
The governing body says the money will be directed towards three connected needs: infrastructure, equipment and knowledge. The first instalment has already been received.
Where the support is expected to go
Initial work will expand the Knowledge Sharing and Equipment Support programmes. World Archery also plans to relaunch its online education platform during the 2026–27 winter season.
The grant announcement includes a disclosure that World Archery president Greg Easton is also president of Easton Foundations. World Archery says he withdrew from both the request and the funding decision.
